Selena Gomez is an internationally famous actress and singer. One of the projects she's been a part of that has had the greatest successful was the Disney series he Wizards of Waverly Place. Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. Her birth date was July 22nd, 1993 in Grand Prairie Texas. Her parents were Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Selena was the first born of her mother who was just sixteen at the age of Selena. At the age of nine years old, Selena landed her first job in showbiz by being cast as Gianna by Barney and her Friends. This way she became one of the thousands of children who have had the opportunity to interact with the humanoid purple dinosaur, which is now well-known in the world of science fiction. Selena was involved in several episodes of seasons 7 and 8, between 2001 and 2003. Selena was not the only performer who appeared on Barney and his Friends during this period. Demi Loveto also worked with the show. After leaving the series Selena Gomez auditioned for several roles in other programs and films but was not very successful. Her role was a little smaller in Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003. She also had another in 2004 as Julie on Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire.
