Bernadette Dezzara (born February 28th 1948 on the 28th of February 1948 in Ozone Park Queens New York) is a famous American performer, actress and storyteller of children's books. In her five decades of professional career, she has appeared in television and musicals and also in solo performances and recorded albums. She is one of the most highly praised Broadway artists, receiving nominations in seven Tony Awards, winning two and eight Drama Desk Awards winning three. Grammy Awards went to four Broadway Cast Albums in which she starred.
